Information You Choose to Send
If you use the contact form, the site collects the information you enter, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. WordPress and Jetpack may also record technical information associated with the submission, including your IP address, browser information, referring page, and submission time, for delivery, security, and spam prevention.
Contact-form submissions are stored in the website database and emailed to T. N. Daigle. They are used only to read and respond to your message, maintain necessary correspondence, prevent abuse, and meet legal or administrative obligations. Please do not submit payment-card details, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through the form.
Newsletter Subscriptions
The Cypress Run Gazette is hosted by Substack. If you subscribe through an embedded form or follow a link to Substack, Substack receives and processes the information you provide under its own privacy terms. Newsletter subscriptions and unsubscribe requests are managed by Substack, not directly through this website.
Embedded Content and Outside Services
Some pages include content or features supplied by other websites, such as Substack newsletter forms and posts or interactive fiction hosted by itch.io. Embedded content can behave as though you visited the provider directly. Those providers may receive your IP address and browser information, set cookies, or measure your interaction with their content according to their own policies.
Links to booksellers and services such as Payhip, Books2Read, BookFunnel, Goodreads, StoryGraph, Facebook, and Instagram take you to independent websites. Purchases, downloads, accounts, and activity on those services are governed by the privacy policies of those services. This website does not directly collect or store your payment-card information.
